Go figure!

Now I have to as part of my weekly tasks update my accounts and this is one area that I actually nod off myself, so I have entertained myself by looking at some of the details of the parties and I have found that there are two over riding factirs that keep popping up on the Hen party front. The first is the profession of our Bride to Be's, one of the top professions that keeps appearing with every 6 out of 10 parties having a teacher of some sort involved. Now it could be coincidence or that teachers just love a quirky fun packed party. I have to admit these have been my favourite parties as the sheer amount of enthusiasm and fun just spills out. Now it got me to thinking about my teachers, one thing that strikes me is that they never seemed this cool or fun, but then age may play a key factor on this as when you are a teenager all adults seem ancient and certainly never had fun!

Now I have become slightly obsessed and have been quite keen to find out what subject they teach and surprisingly the top of the pops are English teachers, which has really surprised me I was expecting drama or the arts! Now my english teacher was a fearsome character with a tight bun and who always wore very plain clothes that were far too baggy for her, I can't imagine her ever being involved in one of our parties, but hey I may have misjudged her as maybe beneath those very large jumpers and baggy trousers could beat a very big party heart! I feel that I may have to rewrite my own history and think to myself that when she left at the end of the day she donned some glitzy outfits and headed out to party with the best of them!

Now I did mention two key factors and the second is names and the one name that keeps appearing time and time again is Laura, now it appears this must have been one of the top baby names which got me to thinking what were the top names and you maybe surprised to find out that Laura was the top name for the 80's with Sarah and Gemma a close follow up so no real surprise there then, but made me wonder what was the top name in my year of birth, well it was Susan and you are going to have to check that one out to find out just how old I am, beacuse as we all know a lady will never tell!
